In 5 minutes a day over 5 days, you will learn 5 simple techniques that you can use anytime, anywhere, to create some space, be more present and feel ready for whatever life throws at you.

It can be hard to make time to stop in the midst of our busy day to day lives. When we do stop it can sometimes feel like a relief, and sometimes it feels like we’ve just created space for our mind to go crazy with ‘to do’ lists or our concerns.

Taking an intentional pause, using mindful techniques to help to work with your busy mind rather than fight against it, and being more in the present moment can really help.

In this meditation challenge the techniques I share can be built into your day to day life to suit you. At the start or end of the day, between tasks, ad hoc, or at a time you choose to set aside as part of your schedule, it’s up to you. Each day you will receive a 5 minute video where I guide you in a different technique. At the end of the 5 days you can pick your favourites to use over the Christmas and New Year period to bring a little bit of calm into your day.

All you need is just 5 minutes to sit or lie down, listen to my guidance, follow along and then continue on with your day, hopefully feeling a little brighter.

Hello! Welcome to my online resources and courses.

I am a yoga and meditation teacher based in Cheshire, UK. I discovered yoga in 2001 and immediately felt the benefits of the stretching, toning and calming effect it had on my body and my mind. It was fantastic for making a bit of space for ‘me’ and relieving the stresses of work and daily life. Since 2013 I have completed a range of trainings inlcuding 200 hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training and Pregnancy training, a 100 hour Meditation Teacher Training, a 50 hour Yoga Nidra facilitator training, I am a Level 2 Birthlight Baby Yoga teacher and postnatal teacher and a To Baby and Beyond trained baby massage teacher.

I am passionate about the benefits that yoga can bring to everyone who practices it. I teach alignment based Hatha yoga with influences from Anusara yoga and Iyengar yoga in particular, but if I find something I like and works for me I pass it on! My aim is to share mindfulness and joy though all of my classes. I teach a range of classes from mixed level classes to meditation, pregnancy to mum and baby yoga and baby massage.

Yoga is a regular part of my life, and for me the journey renews every time I come back to my mat or find space to breathe. I look forward to each class I teach, and each workshop or training I attend, as they all add learning and richness to my yoga practice which I hope that I then pass on to my students. You are very welcome here on my home practice site.
